Phone verification exists as our way to protect ourselves as a seller from possible fraudulent PayPal account due to product(s) are delivered through email system, as opposed to traditional mail delivery. This will be one of the way to ensure the buyer is really the buyer claims to be.

This page will tell you about condition for first time buyer, how to do phone verification, and why phone verification. Please read carefully as everything is clearly stated below.

Important: There are other sellers that happily accepts your payment without any condition. Furthermore, we're not interested to keep your hard earned money. Please simply request refund and transaction cancellation if you're not interested. Additionally, please have a very open mind on this. We conducted strict checking on PayPal payment to minimize possibility of frauds. We are not accusing your payment is fraud or anything, but it's just that they are not in the safe level yet.

Requirement Options 

You need only to pass ONLY ONE of them:

• Have purchased an item from us dated older than 2 months (through other payment method) OR
• Referred by existing customer of D-Javu or djavu2005 on eBay, simply has the existing customer email to us that the following person (your name/eBay ID) wants to purchase PayPal OR
• Have purchased similar item from any other seller on eBay dated older than 2 months OR
• Has gone through address verification (free for Australian resident) OR
• Has gone through phone verification

Phone Verification - How to do it 

We need to do this once, next time we will not request you to do this anymore.

1. Search yourself in a directory website (example in the next paragraph). Email us the result link. The result may have the same address in your PayPal account - however when it's different it's alright too. As long as the address can be found in directory website and it provides a phone number that we can use to contact you.
2. We will call you to confirm that you live there.

Notes to Australia White Pages: The result link cannot be simply copy and paste and email it to us, as it will reset any entries that you use to find yourself. On the result page, when there is a map link right next to your address, click that map link, then copy the link address. When there is not any map link, you have to provide us what entries you use to find yourself.

Why Phone Verification  

1. PayPal can reverse payment on respond to report of unauthorized account usage. PayPal does not cover us against charge back on fraudulent account use of the credit card.
2. There is no tracking number with email delivery. As opposed to traditional postage - mail the item which can be traced on whereabouts of the item, PayPal disapproves of an email as a delivery confirmation. That's why payment reversal is not reversible.
3. It's not worthy to get payment reversal even once. Previously, we got frauds about 40-50 cards already. The profit for one card is about doing 15-20 cards.
4. We have accepted other conditions before. Previously, we try conditions like good feedback, minimum percentage of feedback such as 98% and above, a confirmed address, PayPal verified, checking the address for both eBay and PayPal account (not through phone verification back then - only just to see if they're the same), and many more. We trust someone who has 100+ & 100% feedback, a confirmed address, a verified PayPal account, not from Nigeria or Indonesia, MSN for a very long chat (really long one - trust me), however we still got frauds from someone like that. That's why phone verification (or other condition we mention above) is the only way.
5. We live easier than before. Previously, life is harder, we're expecting reversal any time. Once we got it - we feel so down. Now, we're not worrying anymore.
6. Long relationship between you and us. Once you establish the phone verification for first time buyer, you're welcome to buy from us freely. We do not have to mention here what others has said about our service, therefore, please refer to our feedback.

Alternate Way: Mail the Actual Card  

If you interested and first time only, the alternative will be to have the game card actually mailed to you. It will cost AUD$3.00 for Australia Wide Registered Post or AUD$12.00 for International Air Mail. When the card mailed, we will record the serial number for the item, once it reaches you, you just need to email us what's the serial number(s) is, then you've passed the condition, and in the future, any purchase you made, you're very welcome to have the code emailed.
